I really enjoyed this book. It reminded me a little of A Grief Observed by CS Lewis. It definitely captured the emotions of the pastor. I like her style. I think I'll put Homecoming on the Kndle next. Great recommendation!

I wish I read this before yesterday afternoon. Me, being the ass that I am, saw a Captain with what I thought was just some dirt on his forehead. Not dirt. Sorry Chris but you are wrong on this one. Everyone knows that when you are entering the highway from the ramp "yield" actually means speed up and get in front of the oncoming car. If the other car is attempting to exit you have to stay even with them until the last second thus preventing them from making their exit. This is driving 101... yield equals stop... pppfffhhh

Good post... there are so many commercials that piss me off:

- anything that reminds us the economy is down the crapper, ie. "With a down economy there has never been a better time to buy..."

- commercials that are too loud and force you to turn the volume down just to talk to the person sitting next to you

- commercials for horror movies
